Summer Safety Tips:

  • Wear Sunscreen
Make sure to apply sunscreen 15 minutes before exposing your skin to direct sunlight. Reapply every 2 hours to prevent any severe sunburns.
  • Stay Hydrated
Drink lots of water! It is recommended that you consume 8-10 cups of water per day.
  • Keep Bugs Away
Insects in the summer time can be a real annoyance, especially in Florida. Certain activities such as hiking or swimming can put you at risk of bug bites. Apply repellent to keep them away!

Joke of the Month:

If April showers bring May flowers, what do May flowers bring? June Bugs!

  • Sustainability Corner

  • Sustainable Dining!

Our Sustainability Coordinator, Thel Kelejian, works hard to improve food access on campus and make dining at FSU more sustainable! Our sustainable goals include responsible sourcing, minimizing food waste, efficient operations, and circularity. In her time here she's implemented and improved on programs like Fuel Your Fellow Nole, FSU Round Up, the Food Recovery Network, Food Donation Bins, and more!

If you want to learn more about our sustainability programs, check out our Sustainability page on our website! If you'd like to get involved with our sustainability program, reach out to Thel by email at Kelejian-ThistleThel@aramark.com
