Starting this month, it will now offer a variety of fresh produce too! With offerings like spinach, lettuce, and a variety of fruits these new items provide more flexibility in dining on campus! Plus, you can use your dining dollars when purchasing these new produce options! Whether you just need a quick bite on campus or you want to skip the grocery store, pop into The P.O.D. and see what's new!

  • Health & Nutrition

  • Hydrating your Workout!

You probably know that it's important to stay hydrated while working out or sweating. But do you know why? When we sweat, we aren't just losing water we're also losing electrolytes and important nutrients! 1 Liter of sweat contains 1,000mg of sodium, 2,000mg of chloride, 500mg of potassium, and 50mg of magnesium and calcium! When sweating, either from the heat or a workout, you want to try any consume something with the same electrolyte concentration.

Some tasty ways to stay hydrated:

    • Mix coconut water with watermelon and salt
    • Combine Powerade and LMNT
    • Try mixing apple juice and liquid IV

  • Bring Your Own Cup | Enter to Win!

The Bring Your Own Cup program allows you to bring a clean and reusable cup or mug to participating locations and get a 10¢ discount on your drink. To assist in reducing single-use waste on campus, we're sweetening the deal with our BYOC promotion. Throughout the month of July, we'll be tabling outside of various locations that participate in BYOC to raise awareness! If you stop by one of these tables, you can enter to win a FREE Starbucks cup.

Keep an eye on our upcoming events in order to see when and where you can enter to win!

  • Plastic Free July

Plastic Free July is a global movement that encourages individuals to reduce their reliance on single-use plastics through small, achievable actions. Throughout July, participants are challenged to make more sustainable choices, such as using reusable bags, bottles, cups, and food containers. The campaign raises awareness about plastic pollution and empowers people to build long-term habits that reduce waste and support a healthier environment.

  • Sustainable Dining!

Our Sustainability Coordinator, Thel Kelejian, works hard to improve food access on campus and make dining at FSU more sustainable! Our sustainable goals include responsible sourcing, minimizing food waste, efficient operations, and circularity. In her time here she's implemented and improved on programs like Fuel Your Fellow Nole, FSU Round Up, the Food Recovery Network, Food Donation Bins, and more!
